Become the CEO of Your Life: Create Freedom on Your Own Terms

What would change if you stopped building your life around what you were supposed to do—and started building it around what you actually wanted?

In this episode of Economy Creators™, Mary Farias sits down with Denmark-based entrepreneur Rebecca Olsen for a conversation about family, freedom, entrepreneurship, wealth, personal development and becoming what Rebecca calls the CEO of your own life.

Rebecca grew up believing there was one responsible path: get a good education, find a good job and build a secure life.

Then, at 28, she unexpectedly lost her mother. Time seemed to stop—and Rebecca found herself asking a much bigger question:

How am I actually using the time I have to live?

That question changed the trajectory of her life. Later, motherhood brought another wake-up call. After returning to work, Rebecca picked up her young daughter from daycare and suddenly realized how much of her daughter's life was happening without her. She made a decision: she wanted to build her life around her family—not fit her family into the leftover spaces of her career.

In this conversation, Mary and Rebecca explore:

• How conditioning and paradigms can quietly pull us back into lives we've consciously decided we don't want
• Why asking "What do I really want?" can feel surprisingly vulnerable
• Learning to listen to your inner voice
• The difference between constantly doing and learning to be
• Why stress isn't necessarily evidence that you're accomplishing something
• Moving from trying to avoid problems to becoming open to possibilities
• Entrepreneurship, investing and creating greater financial freedom
• Paying yourself first and beginning to build wealth
• Creating a business that doesn't require your constant presence
• Building a life and business alongside your spouse
• Including your children in the family's dreams and vision
• Becoming an example of possibility for the next generation

One of the most powerful ideas in the conversation is Rebecca's evolution from carefully planning everything to becoming more open to possibilities she couldn't have anticipated.

She compares it to ordering at a restaurant: you decide what you want, place the order—and then allow the kitchen to prepare it. You don't follow the waiter into the kitchen and micromanage every step.

It's a beautiful metaphor for learning to clearly define what you want while releasing the need to control exactly how it arrives.

Today, Rebecca and her husband intentionally build their lives together. They study personal development, discuss their dreams, align around how they want to raise their three children, build businesses and invest with the goal of creating freedom that isn't dependent solely on their labor.

And Rebecca's vision is expanding beyond her own family.

She shares her desire to help people—particularly those she's connected with in Latin America—recognize new possibilities for entrepreneurship, economic opportunity and self-sufficiency.

At the heart of it all is a deceptively simple idea:

Your life doesn't have to look like everyone else's. You can decide what matters to you. You can question the conditioning you inherited. You can define wealth and success differently. And you can intentionally create an economy that supports the life you actually want to live.

Rebecca closes the conversation with a question worth asking yourself:

When will you become an Economy Creator?

From Caregiver to Creator: Transforming Dementia Care with AI

From Caregiver to Creator: Transforming Dementia Care with AI | Ludie Hansen

What happens when your greatest heartbreak reveals your greatest purpose?

In this heartfelt episode of Economy Creators™, Mary Farias sits down with Ludie Hansen, a speech-language pathologist with more than 35 years of experience, who is preparing to retire from clinical practice to focus on a new mission: supporting dementia caregivers through innovative technology, education, and community.

Ludie's journey wasn't one she planned.

After losing her job while helping her daughter through breast cancer treatment, she experienced anxiety, loss of identity, and uncertainty about what came next. During that same season, she became a caregiver for both of her parents, losing them just sixteen days apart. Those experiences transformed the direction of her life and revealed a need she could no longer ignore.

Today, Ludie is building Revival Haven, a growing platform designed to support the millions of families caring for loved ones with dementia.

In this conversation, Mary and Ludie discuss:

• Why caregivers often lose their own identity while caring for others

• The emotional reality of dementia and "the long goodbye"

• How speech pathology prepared Ludie for this new calling

• Why most caregivers don't need more information—they need practical help in the moment

• How AI is making personalized caregiver support possible

One of Ludie's most exciting innovations is the Revival Haven App, an AI-powered resource that helps caregivers navigate difficult situations as they happen.

Instead of searching through articles or waiting for appointments, caregivers can describe what's happening and receive practical guidance on what to say, what not to do, why certain behaviors may be occurring, and simple techniques to help both themselves and their loved one through challenging moments.

Mary and Ludie also explore a topic that resonates far beyond dementia care:

Finding your purpose after life's unexpected detours.

Ludie originally considered becoming a health coach, but nothing felt quite right until she asked herself a simple question:

"What did I love most during my 35-year career?"

The answer came immediately.

Supporting people living with dementia and the families who love them.

That realization became the foundation of an entirely new economy built around purpose instead of obligation.

The conversation also highlights how AI can be used to serve people—not replace them. Ludie shares how she uses AI to develop resources, organize her business, build educational tools, and free more time for the work she loves most: helping caregivers.

Her vision extends far beyond an app.

She is creating books, devotionals, educational webinars, professional resources, and a supportive online community where caregivers can find encouragement, practical strategies, and hope throughout their journey.

Ludie leaves listeners with a message every caregiver needs to hear:

"You're doing the best you can... and that is enough."

Whether you're caring for a loved one, navigating a career transition, exploring AI, or searching for your next chapter, this episode is a powerful reminder that our greatest challenges often become the foundation for our greatest contribution.

Awaken to Your Divine Purpose with Barbara Wainwright

What if the life you're meant to live has been quietly calling to you all along?

In this inspiring episode of Economy Creators™, Mary Farias sits down with Barbara Wainwright—founder of the Wainwright Global Institute of Professional Coaching, author of Awakening to Divine Purpose, and creator of The Power of Life Coaching anthology series—to explore how discovering your purpose can transform your life, career, and impact.

Barbara began her career as a computer programmer and software consultant, but she always sensed there was something more she was meant to do. That inner calling led her through years of studying coaching, personal development, spirituality, neuro-linguistic programming, and human behavior before founding a coaching organization that has trained thousands of professional coaches around the world.

Together, Mary and Barbara discuss what it truly means to build an economy around your unique gifts, your message, and your purpose.

In this episode, you'll discover:

• Why so many people feel stuck—even when they're successful

• How coaching helps people discover what they truly want

• The connection between self-image, purpose, and personal growth

• Why your subconscious programming influences your future

• How meditation, intuition, and inner guidance can provide clarity

• Why universal laws become practical tools for creating the life you want

• How saying "yes" to opportunities opens unexpected doors

• Why every person has a message worth sharing

One of Barbara's most powerful observations is that many people never give themselves permission to pursue what truly lights them up. Instead, they stay busy doing what they've always done while quietly wondering if there's something more.

Mary connects this idea directly to the Economy Creators™ philosophy:

When you begin listening to your inner guidance and honoring your unique interests, talents, and experiences, you stop building your life around a job—and begin building it around who you are.

Barbara also shares practical ways to strengthen your intuition, recognize opportunities, and trust the next step, even when you can't yet see the entire path.

One quote from the conversation perfectly captures the spirit of this episode:

"Show up for God, and God will show up for you in miraculous ways."

Whether you call it God, Source, Universal Intelligence, or your higher self, this conversation is an invitation to trust that life is happening for you—and that your purpose has been guiding you all along.

If you've been feeling called to something bigger, wondering whether it's time to make a change, or searching for the courage to share your message, this episode will encourage you to take the next step.

Because your purpose isn't something you create.

It's something you uncover.
