It’s the first Monday show of the year and Nick and Bob have barely missed a beat. Neither have the listeners, note some masterful trolling by Kevin on Bob for the top of the hour song. During the Nick-requested hiatus, what have he and Bob been doing? There’s audio from the Bob side, in particular involving AI not being as smart as it should be about something Bob holds dear. ‘Me, Myself, and Chip’ get physical? It broke Nick, which in turn broke Bob and the listeners. Jayson Smith is playing with an old speech synthesizer again, and that amused Bob, but his methodology made him talk about keyboard layouts…Johnny on the spot, Nick jumps back into the Thomas the Keyboard Guy archives.

Happy New Year from Nick, Bob, and the live listeners! Given the format and date of this episode, this is essentially the cleanup for 2025, so much so that they get to an episode of ‘Me, Myself, and Chip’ that was not played on December 22. Also, on the subject of December 22, Bob wants to hear what Rorie Kelly’s appearance sounded like from her end versus their end, so Nick plays audio from her stream. How did Nick and Bob spend their weeks? Bob has audio…Noted New Year’s Hater Nick does not. Bob was actually in the building for the 104-year-old man playing the US national anthem on saxophone, and he has audio to prove it. Other than that, it’s a lot of messages and phone calls, including one first time call to close out the show. While abbreviated, it was a punctuation mark on the holiday season and is a nice, friendly way to get the show’s annual break going. See you in a few weeks!

We take many messages and phone calls, playing the traditional clips from Christmas shows past. Chip tells his version of The Night Before Christmas…again. spoiler alert…It’s terrible. What wasn’t terrible is another surprise Appearance by Rorie Kelly, reprising her March 24 role. This time, she sings out spontaneous messages of holiday hilarity given by her viewers to this show’s listeners. More than end-of-year shows past, this episode was a microcosm of the entire year of 2025, in which so much fun was had by so many. Nick and Bob were both awestruck at how this episode turned out and are thrilled to present you with your copy.
